While It Lasts

My only disappointment about moving to Austin is leaving the seasons behind. Having lived seasonless in FL for nearly 20 years, I cherish the transitions from spring to summer, to autumn and winter. The high today in Raleigh was 76, and it's supposed to be even cooler tomorrow - a sure sign that fall is creeping in. In Austin, it was ridiculously hot at 89 degrees. I know we'll all adapt just fine; I'm just trying to enjoy the changing seasons while I've still got 'em.
